organisation is a registered Charity
and company limited by guarantee.
Built on a foundation of partnership
working, the organisation has expertise
in innovative ways of engaging and
working with some of the most disadvantaged
women, children and young people,
as well as pioneering and unique work
with communities, tackling community
safety issues.
RCRP
has been working towards reducing
crime and the fear of crime in Rotherham
since 1992. The organisation began
as a branch of the National Charity,
Crime Concern, and became an independent
Charity in April, 1997 under the name
of Rotherham Crime Reduction Programme
Trust Ltd. Built on a foundation of
partnership, RCRP works closely with
local statutory, voluntary and community
organisations to deliver its services,
some of which are meeting key targets
of Rotherham’s Crime and Disorder
Strategy. The organization has undergone
recent changes and was renamed in
September, 2005 as RCRP Trust Ltd.,
“Rotherham Community Resource
Programme”. A new Vision and
Aims were also agreed by the Board
of Directors, which are:
